{ S H O R T F A C T S }
[*] Was born in Memphis, Tennessee, so he grew up on jazz and rhythm and blues music. His favorite artists are those that no one knows about. Usually ones who don’t have a record deal and who plays in bars and “juke joints”
[*] If he weren’t a teacher, he would probably have been a pro ball player or some kind of historian.
[*] Loves action movies, ones that were graphic novels that were turned into movies such as 300, Watchmen, the Losers, etc. He thinks the reason why a lot of them don’t do so well in the theaters is because people can’t get past that it was a graphic novel and the brutal violence in them. He feels everyone should just shut up and enjoy them.
[*] Has a strange taste in music. Loves any actually from alternative to country to rhythm and blue to everything in between.
[*] Is a hopeless romantic. On the eve of he and his ex-wife’s engagement, he cooked her dinner, bathed her in a tub filled with rose petals and made love to her. The next morning, she woke up to him singing softly to her and with a 1ct diamond ring on her finger.
[*] He’s fond of films about the Mob and Mafia. Often wonders if it really is how it is portrayed sometimes. (i.e. The Godfather, Goodfellas) Granted, he knows that a lot of it is movie fluff.
[*] His friends would describe him as a ‘nice smart ass’, smart, and very giving. He doesn’t get to do it often but he loves to take part in a charity event or two. He often drags his friends to a lot of activity benefits such as marathons and lunches.
[*] Has one dog and a cat, named She-ra and Fluffy (not kidding). Loves them both to death. Misses his dog, Pax that his ex-wife took in the divorce.
[*] Has two older sisters and one younger brother. All their initials are A.E.B.
[*] Paternal Grandparents are full blooded Cajuns who live in Lafayette, Louisiana. Alric visits them every summer and vacations in New Orleans when he can.
[*] His Maternal Grandparents are full blooded French. His Grandmother has passed years before but his Grandfather is still living and no one knows why. The man has been dying for thousands of years. Alric isn’t close to him because he doesn’t agree with some of his views on people and things. But, doesn’t judge him.
[*] Had never been to a beach before college. He and a couple of friends went on a roadtrip for spring break and went to the beach in florida. He doesn’t remember much of it but has a strange, small, tattoo that says “Thug Life” on his forearm.
[*] Has a fear of bees because he’s allergic to them. Got stung by two at the same time and he stopped breathing. Was one of the scariest experiences in his life. He’s seen Fried Green Tomatoes and oddly enough, his favorite character was Idgie Threadgoode.
[*] Is right handed but is ambidextrous. Has even played left-handed baseball.
[*] His favorite sport is probably MMA because there’s no BSing. That stuff is real. |
